The project was constructed at the heating plant in Lidzbark Warmiński, owned by Veolia Północ Sp. z o.o. A 2.8 MW gas-fired boiler plant and infrastructure for a high-efficiency, low-carbon gas-fired cogeneration system with a capacity of nearly 1 MW were commissioned.
The project objective was to reduce coal use and CO2 emissions. The use of low-carbon gas fuel and the optimisation of the energy and heat generation process is part of the decarbonisation project being implemented by the Veolia Group.
